Immigration rule changes

Immigration Rules are Changing and Affect the Visa Routes Detailed Below
  • Health and Care Visas – Applicants on these visas will No Longer be allowed to bring their dependants. Is this in effect now? No, it comes into effect on 11th March 2024.
  • Skilled worker – The minimum Salary threshold will Change from £26,200 to £38,700 on 4th April 2024.
  • Shortage Occupation list – We are advised that the Shortage Occupation List is going to be replaced by the ‘Immigration Salary List’ in the near future*. It will retain a general salary threshold discount but eliminate the 20% going rate discount for shortage occupations.
  • Family Visas – The minimum income requirement for partners applying for a family visa will change from £18,600 to £29,000 on 11th April 2024 and to £34,500 later in 2024*; and eventually to around £38,700 by early 2025*.
