High Potential Individual Visa
- This path enables individuals to come into the UK without first obtaining a job offer and will allow them to change to other routes.
- They have been awarded a qualification which is equivalent to a UK Bachelors, Masters or PhD from an eligible international university, included in the Global Universities List for the year of award
- Their qualification must have been awarded no more than 5 years before the date of application
- The Applicant can speak, read, listen and write English to at least the B1 intermediate level
- The Applicant must have maintenance funds of at least £1,270.
If On 30 May 2022 the High Potential Individual Visa was introduced for international graduates who have recently been awarded a degree from an eligible overseas university. The university that awarded the degree must appear on the Global Universities List (GUL) and the qualification must have been awarded within the 5 years proceeding their application. All qualifications must be verified by Ecctis.
