Innovator Founder Visa
- This category is for those who are experienced businesspersons. You must be at least 18 years old to apply
- The requirements for this visa are as follows:
- Your business needs to be innovative, viable and scalable To assess whether your business is innovative, viable and scalable the Home Office require an endorsement by a Home Office approved endorsement body. A list of approved endorsement bodies can be found here: Innovator endorsing bodies - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
- You have £50,000 available funds to invest, or £50,000 have been invested (if you are extending your visa) There are various intricate requirements on the source and availability of these funds, give us a call for an assessment of your circumstances.
- You should be able to demonstrate your ability to speak English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages There are exceptions to sitting the English test, some of these include: having passed an approved test in a previous successful application, being from a majority English speaking country, possessing a qualification at degree level or above which was taught in English.
- You should be able to meet the financial requirement You need to show that you have held at least £1,270 in your bank account for 28 days before you apply, unless you have lived in the UK for a 12-month period.
- This route leads to settlement (Indefinite Leave to Remain) after 3 years.
